Alguns Contos e Muitos Pontos é meu novo livro bilingue lançado junto com a Editora Kelps para a Coleção Goiânia em Prosa e Verso de 2012. O livro é composto por três crônicas: A Sinfonia de 71W e seus 3 movimentos; A Cisterna; e o conto de Isa, a Lavadeira.
Segue um trecho da crônica "A Cisterna"
Içado após mais de quize horas lá no fundo, foi emergindo da cisterna no meio a um silêncio geral.
Quando enfim pôs os pés na terra, foi aplaudido pela assistência que estava reunida por solidariedade e curiosidade ao redor do buraco.
A figura surgida era singular, dantesca. Coberto de lama da cabeça aos pés, o barro comecava a secar como craquelê e ia caindo em placas que desgrudavam do corpo. Uma estátua, uma escultura vermelha -- ocre, com os cabelos saranhados, duros, os olhos arregalados, eram as partes que se moviam e apareciam com vida, brilhantes. Tirou o pé do laço e pousou com os pés no solo.
Estava vivo, estava livre.
Este livro serão encontros nas livrarias de aeroportos por R$30,00 nas cidades onde ocorrerá a Copa das Confederações (2013).
Estarão sendo vendidas, também, camisetas e jóias dos animais do livro Anjo do Cerrado na Mata Atlântica.

Some Tales and Many Points is my new bilingual book released along with the publishing house Kelps for the Collection Goiânia in Prose and Verse, 2012. The book consists of three chronicles: Symphony 71W and its 3 movements; The Cistern, and the story of Isa, the Laundress.
Here is an excerpt from The Cistern:
After more than fifteen hours at the bottom of the well he was hoisted to a silent crowd. When finally his feet touched earth he was applauded by the volunteers that had come together in solidarity and curiosity around the opening.
The figure before them was a unique and Dantesque; covered from head to toes in mud, it began to dry in cracks and fell in chunks that unglued from his body. A statue, an ocher-red sculpture with unkempt, hard hair and wide, bright eyes -- those were the only indicators of life in the form before the crowd. He untied the rope from his waist, stepped out of the loop, and landed on solid ground.
He was alive, he was free.
This book will be in aiport bookstores for R$30.00 of cities hosting the Confederations Cup (2013).
